What does this cost?
All Palantir Learning courses are free.
Certification exams have an associated cost. Please contact your Palantir point of contact or your Foundry Administrator for access to Certification exams and more information.
What courses should I take?
This will depend on your role and interests. We recommend new Foundry users start with Foundry Foundations, an introductory learning path that introduces the basics of Foundry and will award your first Palantir Badge upon completion.
The Learning Paths are designed with specific roles in mind, and there is some amount of overlap between some paths. We recommend starting with the path that best fits your learning goals.
Do I need access to a Palantir Foundry environment?
For most courses, you will need access to a Foundry environment provided by your employer. However, Foundry Foundations can be taken by anyone with an interest in learning more about the platform.
Courses designated ‘No Foundry Required’ do not require access to a Foundry environment.
I cannot find the required training resources in my Foundry environment.
The exact resources that you will find in your Foundry environment will depend upon the requirements of your organization. Therefore, if you do not find the expected resources, please reach out to your Foundry Administrator or Palantir point of contact.
Do I need an access code for Palantir Learning courses?
Access codes are not required for most Palantir Learning courses. Access codes are required for Palantir Partner Program courses and Certification exams.
My access code / promo code isn’t working.
If you have received access codes and promo codes for a Foundry Certification exam, please make sure that you are using the correct type of code where it is needed. Access codes must be entered when signing in or signing up. Promo codes are entered when registering for a Certification Exam. Check with your Palantir point of contact or the person who gave you the codes if you are not sure.
I passed a quiz but did not receive my badge or certificate.
After earning a badge, you'll receive an email with a link to your verifiable badge. You can also access your earned credentials from within your Palantir Learning Profile.
If you did not receive your badge or certificate despite passing, please contact us.
Signing Up vs. Signing In
Retake exams are not available immediately upon request. Instead, there is a "cooling off" period of 14 days between exams to encourage extra preparation time. After this point, another exam can be purchased or promo code used.
If you have used a promo code, please contact the responsible person in your organization to ask for another one. Limited numbers of codes are given out and each one can be used only once.
I failed a quiz and would like to re-enroll.
After failing a quiz, you will be placed into a “cool off period” during which course re-enrollment is not possible. Please use this time to prepare for your next quiz attempt. The course will display the date when re-enrollment will be permitted. It is not possible to reduce the cool off period.
I passed a quiz and would like to re-enroll.
If you would like to re-enroll in a quiz that you have already passed, it should already be possible to do so. You do not need to wait.
If you pass a Foundry Certification exam, there is an 11-month "cool off period" before you can take another instance of that Foundry Certification exam.
Video playback issues
Some network security configurations can cause issues with video playback. We recommend to contact your network administrator in such cases.
